  • Tim Grant

    DIRECTOR & PRODUCT DEVELOPER

    Tim has worked in LCA for over 25 years and has undertaken over 50 full LCA studies including the development of the Australian National Life Cycle Inventory Database. He is the founding member of the Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society and is a pillar of the international Life Cycle community through his involvement with the UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Initiative, ISO standards development committee for ISO14048 and the Forum for Sustainability through Life Cycle Innovation. Tim has been instrumental in the development of data and leading-edge scientific support for supply chain sustainability tools. He has contributed to several books, being co-author of Assessment: Principles, Practice and Prospects (CSIRO Publishing) and Design + Environment: A Global Guide to Designing Greener Goods (Greenleaf Publishing Limited).

  • Paul-Antoine Bontinck

    DESIGN DIRECTOR

    Paul-Antoine is an environmental engineer specialising in LCA. He has applied LCA in research, consulting, and industry settings over the past 12 years. Alongside his Master of Environmental Engineering, this gives him a deep understanding of the many possible applications for LCA models.
    As a Senior Consultant at Lifecycles, Paul-Antoine has specialised in the development and handling of large models, linking Material Flow Analysis and LCA. Most recently, Paul-Antoine led the update of the National Food Waste Baseline and developed a stock and flow model of Australia’s consumption of e-product, estimating current and projected volumes of e-waste arising in Australia.

  • Gabriella Hooper

    DIGITAL, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

    Gabriella joined the Lifecycles team in 2022 to lead the marketing, brand, and product development. She has 7 years of experience in communications and marketing agencies in London and Australia.
    Having managed large scale brand campaigns for consumer and corporate companies including McDonalds, Skyscanner, Johnson & Johnson, Equifax, Bunnings and Diageo, she prides herself on her ability to connect brands with key audiences through strategic communications and digital marketing.

  • Lucy Holden

    LCA SCIENTIST

    Lucy completed a BComm (Finance) at the University of Sydney whilst working as an investment analyst at a boutique wealth management firm, followed by an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance in London.

    She was awarded second place in a team business plan project on reducing the greenhouse gas emissions of marine transportation through low-cost wind propulsion technologies. Lucy wrote her individual Master’s thesis on the economic viability of blue hydrogen production.

    She joined Lifecycles as a Graduate Scientist in January 2023 and is excited to apply her quantitative skills to impact assessment consulting projects.

  • Lucille Wagner

    LCA SCIENTIST

    Lucille completed a technical degree in Organic and Analytical Chemistry and an MSc in Medicinal Chemistry. After three years in Medical Research, she joined Lifecycles in 2020.
    At Lifecycles, she has worked on a variety of LCA consulting projects: from biochar and small electronic medical devices to hydrogen production and biomanufacturing. She has also reviewed many LCAs, and carbon neutral certification claims under different certification schemes.
    She recently completed a course in social LCA and hopes to apply this knowledge by helping clients understand their environmental and social footprint.

  • Jeremy Grant

    RESEARCHER

    Jeremy started at Lifecycles in 2015 as an intern during his VCE studies. He is now undertaking a Bachelor of Environmental Science at RMIT and works part-time as an LCA researcher at Lifecycles.
    He assists Lifecycles in many projects including peer reviewed LCAs for major international companies, developing our streamlined packaging LCA software, PIQET, as well as the development and update of LCA databases including AusLCI, EcoInvent and PIQET.
    Jeremy has advanced skills in SimaPro and is learning VBA and python programming, geographical information systems and data visualisation platforms including Power BI.
